Bayer Publishes in New History and Philosophy of Psychology Series

Associate Professor of Women's Studies Betty Bayer's new chapter “On Cultural History as Transformation – or, What's the Matter with Psychology Anyway?” appears in Rediscovering the History of Psychology, the second volume in the new History and Philosophy of Psychology series published by Kluwer. Her chapter provides critical examination of the question of disciplinarity and interdisciplinarity, asking how or where feminists' scholarship is transformative (whose transformations? whose knowledge?), and calling for transformations of psychology, “for the love of the discipline.”
