Second Day of Service of Fall 2009

If you missed out on the last Day of Service, don’t worry.  The second Day of Service of the semester is this Sunday, Nov. 8.

Whether working at American Red Cross sites throughout the Finger Lakes Region or at the public library in Geneva, students, faculty and staff will be out in force this weekend, serving the community they live in.

Other sites for this Day of Service include the Beverly Animal Shelter, Bishop Nature Preserve, Geneva Community Center, Geneva Habitat for Humanity, Geneva Housing Authority, Geneva Theatre Guild, Ontario Arts Council, Shelter of Hope Humane Society, Sons of Italy, Temple Beth-El, Trinity Church and Zion Lutheran Church.

All participants should meet on the Quad at 12 p.m.  To sign up, or for more information, contact the Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning by emailing or calling (315) 781-3825.
