With Thanksgiving break just around the corner, many students are looking forward to some downtime between midterms and finals. Some are going home, others are visiting family or friends in other parts of the country or around the world. For students remaining on campus during Thanksgiving break, there are a number of options to enjoy.
For those interested in preempting the Turkey Day sluggishness, Bristol Field House will be open Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 25 from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will reopen on Sunday, Nov. 29 at 5 p.m.
On Thanksgiving Day, HWS Chaplain Lesley Adams will open her doors to any students, faculty and staff for a Thanksgiving meal. If you would like to attend, please notify Chaplain Adams ahead of time. Send her an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For some relaxation following Thanksgiving Day and a reprieve before Monday classes resume, the Office of Intercultural Affairs will be open for movie screenings and pizza on Saturday, Nov. 28 and Sunday, Nov. 29.
