Tyler T. Ray ’00 has recently joined the law firm of Duffy & Sweeney, Ltd., in Providence, R.I. Prior to joining this firm, Ray had more than four years’ of business law experience as in-house counsel at Cookson Group, a multi-national conglomerate. He has represented Cookson in matters involving employment law, contracts and intellectual property.
Ray also previously served as a judicial intern for Providence Superior Court Justice Gilbert Indeglia, and as a congressional intern in the Washington, D.C. office of Senator Susan M. Collins (R-Maine).
A 2005 graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law, Ray received honors distinction in several subject areas and is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Ray is a member of the Board of Directors and serves as the legal advisor for Farm Fresh Rhode Island, a local non-profit organization dedicated to building a sustainable local food network integrating Rhode Island farms and their produce to consumers around the state.
He earned an M.B.A. from Bryant University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Hobart. While at Hobart, he was a member of Kappa Alpha, participated in ski club and studied off-campus in Washington, D.C.
