The Stewardson Society recently celebrated its progress with a “Black & White Party” at Morgan’s Restaurant. The Stewardson Society recognizes members of the Classes of 2010 at Hobart and William Smith who make a charitable contribution to the Annual Fund in their senior year.
The event drew a crowd of approximately 125 seniors. Guests took full advantage of “members-only” specials, nibbled on delicious appetizers and mingled with their classmates.
The goal for this year’s senior gift campaign is for at least 60 percent of the senior classes to leave their mark on HWS with a gift of $20.10 or more. At Friday’s event, the Stewardson Society collected 71 new gifts, totaling nearly $1,500. To date, 35 percent of the senior classes have made a gift.
Seniors who would like to contribute can do so by contacting Ashley Carrow, assistant director of annual giving, firstname.lastname@example.org, ext. 4069.
