On Monday, Feb. 8, William Smith alumna Jennifer Lever ’08 will return to campus as part of an informational session to recruit potential employees.
Lever, who works for the Pepsi Bottling Group (PBG), will give a talk beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Stern Hall 103. The next day, one-on-one job and internship interviews with Pepsi Bottling Group Human Resources Manager, Laurie Reister, will be held. Interested students must upload their resumes via eRecruiting by 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 3 to be considered for interviews.
PBG is the world’s largest manufacturer, seller and distributor of Pepsi-Cola beverages – some of the world’s most recognized consumer brands. PBG became a publicly-traded company in March 1999 through one of the largest initial public offerings in the history of the New York Stock Exchange, and is soon to merge back into the PepsiCo umbrella, which will make PepsiCo the 2nd largest consumer products company in the world.
In her time with the Pepsi Bottling Group since June of 2008, Lever has taken on 5 different roles, in addition to creating a sustainability program that has led to almost half a million dollars of cost aversion for the 11 locations in Upstate New York. Her “Go Green” efforts have been nationally recognized and her input played a critical role in the PBG National Recycle Policy. Prior to her role at PBG, Lever worked as a scholar intern for the Cintas Corporation out of Syracuse, N.Y.
She graduated from William Smith College with a double major in economics and sociology.
