Katie Scollin will join the Public Service Office on July 12 as the new assistant director of public service. She will be assuming the position currently held by Jenna Logue ’01, who is leaving to pursue a graduate degree at Harvard University.
Scollin holds a B.A. in communication and business administration from Stonehill College in Easton, Mass., and has just finished her M.S. in education, student affairs administration, from SUNY Buffalo. This past year she was the graduate assistant for community service coordination in the Office of Student Life at SUNY Buffalo, a new position for which she advocated at Buffalo.
Scollin was also the graduate assistant for the Leadership Development Center at SUNY Buffalo and had internships with the Learn and Serve Center at Niagara University and the Office of New Student Programs at SUNY Buffalo. Prior to her graduate work, she was a Massachusetts Campus Compact VISTA at the College of the Holy Cross in Worchester, Mass.
Scollin brings with her an effervescent personality, high energy, and strong commitment to service.
