On Friday, April 16, the Salisbury Center for Career Services will host alum speaker Peter Brown ’01.
Formerly stationed in Johannesburg, South Africa with the Peace Corps, Brown will discuss the Foreign Service exam and his career with the State Department in a talk titled “Working for the Foreign Service,” at 3 p.m. in Stern Hall 301.

Brown recently accepted a position as Assistant Public Affairs Officer in the Public Diplomacy Department at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, where he will begin work on June 11. Brown has also worked for the U.S. Consulate General in India.
Later in the day, Brown will be the alumnus speaker at the Benjamin Hale Dinner, which will begin at 6:15 p.m. in the Vandervort Room in Scandling Campus Center.
