On Saturday, April 24, the Seneca Flyers, the Colleges’ own Ultimate Frisbee team, will host a home tournament and fundraiser, welcoming six regional teams to campus to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Team captain Stephen Wolff ’12, who joined the team during his first year, says that “in collaboration with HWS Learn to Lead and with the help of Colin Desko ’13, we decided to host the tournament as a fundraiser.”
The Flyers will sell Frisbees for $10 at the tournament, which will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 4 on the fields behind Odell’s Village.
Having placed fourth at a tournament earlier this spring, the Flyers head into this weekend with a record of 3-3. At this, their last competition of the season, they will be playing against teams from Monroe Community College, Nazareth College, SUNY Brockport, SUNY Oswego and Roberts Wesleyan College.
