A video posted on Auburnpub.com by Sam Tenney, May 6, features a group of seventh-grade science students at Moravia Middle School as they performed a series of tests on Dry Creek at Fillmore Glen State Park.
The school enables students to experience stream research firsthand as part of the Finger Lakes Institute’s pilot project, The Finger Lakes Regional Stream Monitoring Program, made possible by a grant from Time Warner Communications. More information about the project is on the Colleges Web site.
The video features students working in the stream as well as Karen Camp, seventh-grade physical science teacher, explaining the project. It is available online.
