Specialist in Franchise Development Tapped to Direct National Expansion

MORRISTOWN, NJ (PRWEB) August 3, 2004 — Viva Enterprise, the parent company of Viva the Chef™ (www.vivathechef.com), today announced the appointment of Christiane Cabot as chief operating officer.

“Christiane is one of the leading experts in the country in terms of franchise development and advancement,” said Gina Martinez, president and CEO of Viva Enterprise. “I am thrilled that she has chosen to continue her impressive career with us, working to make Viva the Chef™ both a national and international brand.”

In her former role as president and senior consultant of Francorp, Inc., Cabot assisted hundreds of companies at the initial stages of investigating franchising as a means of business expansion. She chose to take over the day-to-day affairs of Viva Enterprise, following a series of meetings with Martinez.

“I was immediately impressed with Gina’s vision for Viva the Chef™, and I believe my experience in national franchise development will be an ideal compliment for her creativity and drive to grow the company,” Cabot said. “I am eager to help Gina take Viva the Chef™ to the next step, based on my experience working with hundreds of prospective franchisors, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, over the past decade.”

At Francorp, Cabot was responsible for corporate marketing worldwide, including seminars, advertising, direct marketing, trade shows, sales promotions and electronic commerce. She also served as a senior consultant, analyzing and evaluating hundreds of businesses’ readiness for expansion through franchising.

Martinez said Cabot’s background will be an enormous asset, as the company unveils a unique line of culinary products, cookbooks, apparel and toys in the coming months and years.

Cabot received her undergraduate degree from William Smith College and earned a graduate degree in business from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Viva Enterprise is the parent company of Viva the Chef™, a one-of-a-kind franchise opportunity offering culinary instruction to children and adults, uniquely educating through entertainment.
