Hinrichs Graduates from Culinary Institute

Michael Hinrichs, who attended Hobart for a while and would have graduated in the Class of 2005, has just recently graduated with honors from the Culinary Institute of America. Majoring in biology at the Colleges, Hinrichs changed his focus during his first year. He has been employed this summer as a private chef, and also continued to work at Jack's Oyster House in Albany, where he did his externship for the Institute. He was featured in the article “CIA grad: This cooking school is no piece of cake” in the Saratogian, Saratoga Springs, N.Y., June 2.
