Paul Bringewatt, vice president for administrative services, was quoted in the Aug. 11 Finger Lakes Times. He provided an update on activities at the Colleges at a meeting hosted by City Council for those in the Geneva’s first and second wards.
Bringewatt said a new orientation had been completed for students who will live off campus this September that included information from the city police department and a review of how to be a good neighbor with non-college residents. He also spoke of construction projects, noting renovations have been done at Geneva Hall, including eliminating 12 beds and adding more social space and a game room; work on the two new dorms is on schedule and they will be opened in January; and planning efforts have begun to create a studio art building at Houghton House.
