For those interested in learning more about the study abroad program and its application process, the Center for Global Education will hold a General Information Session on Wednesday, Sept. 15. In addition to basic information suitable for all students who are interested in studying abroad, there will be breakout sessions for the specific fall 2011 programs which have openings for participants.
The fall 2011 Global Education Programs are: Australia (Queensland or Perth), Belgium, Brazil, Canada (Quebec), China (Beijing or Nanjing), Czech Republic, Denmark, England (Bath or Norwich), France (Aix, Avignon or Marchutz), Germany (Landau or Tuebingen), Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam and Wales.
The session will be held in the Vandervort Room of the Scandling Campus Center at 7p.m.
The mission of the Center for Global Education is to provide students with academically challenging study abroad experiences that foster an in-depth understanding of another culture, with the aim of encouraging them to embrace the concept of global citizenship.
