Hobart alum Brock T. Onque’, Ph.D., adjunct professor at Robert Morris University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education. He has been in the field for 15 years.
With expertise in urban design and community development, Onque’ teaches foundation studio at the freshman level and two courses of two-dimensional design principles to freshmen and sophomores. He also teaches architectural design courses at Carnegie Mellon University.
Onque’ graduated from Hobart College in 1982 with a B.A. in sociology. He received both a master’s degree in architecture and a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Virginia, and a Ph.D. in public and international affairs from the University of Pittsburgh. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Block Development Corporation and is a member of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the Society of Planners and the American Planning Association. Formerly, he served on the Board of Directors of the City Theatre of Pittsburgh and of the Community Design Center of Pittsburgh.
