William Smith Students Ride to Fight AIDS

On September 11, 2004, William Smith seniors Liz Kenney and Cole Judge biked 100 miles around Cayuga Lake in the 6th annual “Ride for Life” to raise money for AIDSWORK in Ithaca, N.Y. Together they raised $600 for the cause. It is estimated that the entire race this year raised $85,000.

The AIDS RIDE For Life is AIDS WORK's largest fundraiser. This 100-mile bike ride around Cayuga Lake brings in 27 percent of the entire AIDS WORK annual budget and supports much-needed programs such as HIV/AIDS education and outreach.
