Ariel Laidlaw ’06 has been named the director of outreach for the Cancer Services Program of Dutchess County at the American Cancer Society in Poughkeepsie.
The Cancer Services Program of Dutchess County provides free clinical breast exams, mammograms, pap tests and colorectal screenings for uninsured and underinsured men and woman 40-64 years of age who live in Dutchess County. It is a division of the New York State Cancer Services Program, funded by the New York State Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control.
Laidlaw is a graduate of William Smith College who majored in public policy studies and minored in religious studies. Laidlaw previously worked at the University of Nottingham Business School in the United Kingdom and recently moved to Poughkeepsie.
