Chase Helps Students Fashion a Career

Students with an interest in the world of fashion will have the opportunity to learn about a career in this innovative field. Jayne Chase P’13, fashion and style expert, will speak on “Careers in Fashion,” as part of the Professional in Residence Series at 7:30 p.m. in Trinity 305 on Wednesday, April 13.

Chase currently serves as president at Jayne Chase Communications, and co-host and producer of “A Fashionable Life,” on 1490WGCH. She started her career working at Glamour, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, and J. Crew. She has co-hosted the “Morning Living Show,” on Martha Stewart Living Radio on Sirius/XM, as well as co-hosted her own special series for MSLO called “A Fashion of Living.” She has appeared as a fashion expert on “Good Morning America,” “ABC News,” “ABC News Now,” “NBC,” “Plum TV” and many more.

Chase has covered Mercedes Benz New York and London Fashion Weeks, as well as President Barack Obama’s Inauguration for “ABC News” and “ABC News Now.” She has styled and worked with many models, celebrities and TV correspondents, produced many fashion shows and remains a contributing editor covering fashion for the Cottages & Gardens publications.
