Jo Anna Isaak, professor of art, has had three publications selected for inclusion in anthologies recently: “The Revolution Power of Women’s Laughter”(1983) and “Laughter Ten Years After”(1995) are in Art and Feminism (Phaidon Press), and “Mapping the Imaginary”(1987) is included in Feminism-Art-Theory: An Anthology 1968-2000 (Blackwell Publishers). She also wrote the catalogue essay “American Family” on the work of the artist Renee Cox which is currently on display in New York City and Baltimore.
