Three Hobart golfers competed in the Bent Creek Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall today. Senior Cullen White led the trio at the par 71 Bent Creek Country Club, tying for 20th place in the 79-golfer field.
White carded a an eight-over 79 tied for the third best score by a Statesman this season. Sophomore Steve Dougherty was one stroke back, matching his best round of the year, in a three-way tie for 25th place. Sophomore Devon Schara was 67th with a 94.
Messiah’s Matt Bukhart was the individual medalist with a one-over 72.
Albright won the team title by two strokes over York. Hobart did not have enough golfers to earn a spot in the team standings.
The Statesmen will be back in action on Thursday, April 21 when they compete in the Keuka Invitational.
