William Smith (5-8, 3-3) started the week second in the Liberty League averaging 12.31 goals and 17.15 points per game. The Herons are led in points by sophomore Marissa Potter. She has registered 38 points on 24 goals and 14 assists. Juniors Lucy Johnson and Rosie Scheibel have each recorded a team-high 27 goals. Johnson has scooped up 42 ground balls to lead William Smith and rank fourth in the Liberty League (3.23 per game). She has also won 32 draw controls. Junior Callie Frelinghuysen ranks second in the league with 22 caused turnovers (2.00 per game). Sophomore Jesse Wilson has started all but one game, and ranks second in the conference averaging 7.85 saves per contest.
The Engineers come to Geneva with an 8-4 overall record and a 4-2 mark in the conference. William Smith and Rensselaer are battling for the final spot in the four-team Liberty League tournament. Senior Afton Marshall leads the team with 39 points (24g, 15a) while Alissa Peterson has scored a team-high 25 goals. Allie Arnal has played all but two minutes in goal and has an 8.55 goals against average with a .442 save percentage.
Vassar starts off the weekend 6-7 overall and 1-5 in conference. The Brewers will take on Rochester on Friday then come to Geneva for the final regular season game for both teams. Sarah Warner leads Vassar and is third in the conference in scoring with 42 goals and 22 assists for 64 points. Nicole Engelhardt and Heather Kesselman split time in goal. Engelhardt has started 10 games and holds a 17.82 goals against average and a .332 save percentage. Kesselman has an 11.29 goals against average and a .347 save percentage.
