Zupan ’72 Blogs from Peru

Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees Maureen Collins Zupan ’72, P ’09 and other members of the HWS community have embarked on a journey exploring the vibrant country of Peru. The faculty-led South American adventure offers an itinerary filled with the finest views, culinary delicacies and tours of bustling cities – and Zupan is lending her observations of the trip.

Zupan is updating a daily blog from Peru, detailing each location, tour and stop along the way. Accompanied by vivid photographs, the blog makes the journey available to a wider community.  The blog will be updated on the HWS website at http://www.hws.edu/peru/blog/.

The nine day trip to Peru, led by Professor of Economics Scott McKinney who was born and raised in Peru, was designed for HWS alumni, alumnae and parents. Travelers will have the opportunity to explore Lima, Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Machu Picchu and Cuzco, tasting some of the areas exotic cuisine and experiencing the culture through the eyes of local guides.

Zupan, a financial planner for Sagemark Consulting, earned a B.A. in mathematics from William Smith College in 1972. She has served  on the Board of Trustees since 1994 and is an active member of the Alumnae Association.
