Daniel J. Plunkett ’85 has been named non-commercial sales manager for TW Garner Food Company, in Greensboro, N.C. As such, Plunkett will be responsible for customer relationships with convenience stores, airlines and cruise lines, as well as the U.S. Military Prime Vendor program, contract management and group purchasing organizations. Plunkett has 25 years of experience in high-level sales and field management positions for Rich Products and, most recently, Land O’Lakes Incorporated, where he was selected as Sales Manager of the Year in 2009.
Plunkett earned his B.A. in history from Hobart College.While a student, he was a Druid and a member of the Hobart lacrosse and football teams. He earned the Lt. John Vandeverg ’50 Award for lacrosse and the Three-year Letter award and Emblem Award for both. He also earned the Roger J. Frankel Award and participated in the student phonathon.
