Caley Goldblatt ’12 is spending her summer as a fashion intern with Lucky Magazine, a Conde Nast publication. An aspiring editor with previous intern experience at Arizona Foothills Magazine, Goldblatt is responsible for managing fashion samples, aiding in photo shoots, and more.
Goldblatt recently had the opportunity to assist with a styling for a dress your body type segment on NBC’s “Today Show.” She was involved in the process from start to finish, including picking out clothing, helping with the fitting, and working behind the set as the segment was being filmed.
“So far the internship has been a great introduction to the behind the scenes at a fashion magazine,” says Goldblatt.
An English major with a health professions minor, Goldblatt hopes to land a position as an editor and writer for a health and style focused magazine.
“Through this internship I have realized that I want to be more involved in the editorial side,” she said. “My time has been filled with a lot of hard work and an opportunity to meet some great professionals in the field.”
On campus, Goldblatt has been involved in Koshare and designed work for the Arts Collective 2009 Fashion Show. She studied abroad in Ireland and works as a writer in the Office of Communications.
