Involvement Expo takes place this Friday, Sept. 2, on the Quad. Organized by the Office of Student Activities, more than 80 clubs and teams, as well as up to 20 different campus departments, will be represented at the expo to encourage students to get involved.
Are you an athlete? Join one of the many HWS club sports teams like hockey or Rugby. Like to write? Work with one of the student-run publications like the Herald or the Martini. Have a passion for the environment or community service? Come by the Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning or campus greens table to learn about Day of Service and other exciting volunteer opportunities! There’s something to suit everyone’s interests.
The expo runs from 5 to 7 p.m. In the event of rain, the event will be moved into the Vandervort Room, located in Scandling Campus Center.
“The Involvement Expo is an event that showcases student organizations and other ways to get involved,” explains Robert Pool, director of Student Activities. “Our first-years, in particular, get to see what options are out there.”
