The Hobart College lacrosse team will host Binghamton University in its home opener on Saturday, March 3. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Boswell Field.
The Statesmen (0-1) will be playing their first game since Feb. 19 after their originally scheduled home opener on Feb. 25 was cancelled due to snow. Hobart and Binghamton will meet for the seventh time. The Statesmen hold a 4-2 series lead, outscoring the Bearcats 46-39. The teams first met in 2005 with the Statesmen securing a 10-7 win. Hobart is 3-0 against the Bearcats in Geneva, but just 1-2 in Vestal. This will be Binghamton’s first game on Boswell Field, having played on McCooey Field in its last three visits to campus.
General admission tickets are $5, children under 12 are $2.
The game will be broadcast on WEOS-FM (89.7/90.3) in Geneva. Fans can also follow the game online via All-Access Video and Live Stats.
