Capraro and Mathews to Serve on City Overlay Zoning Advisory Committee

Geneva Mayor Don Cass recently announced the 13 members of the Overlay Zoning Advisory Committee. They include planning board member Chip Capraro, associate Hobart dean, and Stanley Mathews, assistant professor of art.

Mathews said one of the committee's biggest jobs should be ensuring that Geneva keeps “the real sense of a town” it now has, in the Dec. 16 Finger Lakes Times article “Preservation/development committee named”.

“I just think it has a real responsibility to look at the town and preserve the streetscape we have now. It should not be turned into a strip mall,” he said.
