Life of Consequence Award Presented

During a celebration for alums in Palm Beach, Fla., Reeve Bright ’70, a partner at Bright Pack & Associates, was presented with the HWS Life of Consequence Award, recognizing his meritorious service and commitment to making a difference.

A lawyer by trade, Bright has been recognized for his pro bono efforts and has served as an attorney for the Republican Party of Florida and the Republican Party of Palm Beach County, earning the organization’s Outstanding Republican Award.

A Palm Beach County Blood Bank 60+ gallon donor, he is a founding member of the Kiwanis Club of Delray Beach and is active in the Episcopal Dioceses as both a vestryman and member of the property loan and investment committee.

He also serves as a member of the Hebron Academy Board of Trustees, is a national board member of the Lupus Foundation and is a former member of the Board at St. Joseph’s Episcopal School.

At Hobart College, Bright majored in political science and served as editor of the H Book. A lifetime member of the Statesmen Athletic Association, he earned varsity letters in three sports: track, swimming and soccer, earning the three-year Letter Award for soccer in 1970. As former president and treasurer of Kappa Alpha Society, Bright has since served as president of the KA Alumni Corporation.
