Michael Bogin, professor of art, will have his work shown at Avenue Art Gallery, Endicott, N.Y., from March 5 – March 31, as part of the exhibit “The Art Educator, Reshaping The Thinking of Our Community.” The exhibit includes the work of 43 visual artists, representing 12 public school districts and 11 colleges and universities from upstate New York and was formulated to share with the public how art educators utilize their personal creativity to help their students develop their own creative, critical and innovative thinking skills.
An opening reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, preceded by a gallery talk from 4-6 p.m. These events are free and open to the public. The Avenue Art Gallery is located at 114 Washington Avenue, Endicott.
