Economics major Andrew Zdrojewski ’13 is exploring the finance world at First Niagara Bank in Buffalo, N.Y., this summer. He chose a banking internship to see if a career in finance is what he wants to pursue after graduation.
As an intern, Zdrojewski is part of the business performance improvement team, working on projects for the accounting department as well as the strategic sourcing department.
“Business performance improvement is a really interesting department to work with because I get to see firsthand how various parts of the bank operate,” he says.
Zdrojewski has also enjoyed being on staff following First Niagara’s recent conversion with HSBC bank.
“It is fascinating to witness how First Niagara keeps growing and seeing what plans they have for continued expansion and efficiency,” he says.
On campus, Zdrojewski is pursing an environmental studies minor and plays tight end on the Hobart football team.
