Shibamoto ’94 On Business in Japan

On Monday, Sept. 24, Masaaki Shibamoto will give as talk as part of the Professionals in Residence Series. The talk, titled, “Business Side of Agriculture in Japan,” begins at 7:30 p.m. in Trinity 305.

Shibamoto graduated from Hobart College with a B.A. in mathematics and went on to work in various positions in the field of finance. He held positions with Shibamoto & Co, and at New Holland HFT Japan’s Gunma office,  before working with New Holland’s Sapporo branch. Shibamoto has served as president and COO since 2001.

He also serves as a vice president at Hokkaido Fair Trade Council of Agricultural Machinery and as a director at Commercial Agricultural Machinery Cooperative, Hokkaido.

One-on-one interviews for work with New Holland HFT Japan will take place immediately after Shibamoto’s talk. Interviews will be in Trinity 109, the same location as his talk.
