Freya Hoffman-Terry '06 will give the keynote talk at the Cape Cod Chapter of the Fellowship of Reconciliation's 25th anniversary luncheon on May 14.The Fellowship of Reconciliation has been in the U.S. for 90 years, and internationally it is the world's oldest peace and justice organization, with affiliates in more than 40 countries.
Hoffman-Terry spent a semester her junior year studying in Vietnam. Her courses included photojournalism, history, culture and political science of urban Vietnam, as well as a class in Vietnamese language. She is currently leading an effort to start a peace studies department on campus.
The luncheon was announced in the May 6 Cape Codder, Orleans, Mass.
