Children’s author releases new book

Robin Pulver '67 of Pittsford recently published “Author Day for Room 3T,” a children's book with colorful illustrations by Chuck Richards.

It tells about a famous writer who visits the third graders from Mr. Topple's room, the preparations the students make in anticipation of his visit, and what their librarian, Mrs. Storey, warned them about authors being “ordinary people, like you and me.”

Pulver is the author of several books for children, and is perhaps best known for “Axle Annie” and the series about another elementary school teacher, Mrs. Toggle.

This is her first work for Clarion Books, an imprint of Houghton Mifflin. Both her latest book and “Axle Annie” are available at the HWS College Store.
