Offray Specialty Narrow Fabrics, the family business of alums Tim Offray ’09 and Claudia Offray ’05, will be featured on the Fox Business Network on Monday, Nov. 18.
The segment, part of Fox’s “Manufacturing Marvels,” provides behind-the-scenes footage and narrative about the business, the markets it serves and its history. Offray Specialty Narrow Fabrics manufactures high performance textile and advanced webbing products used by fire, military, mining and safety professionals and in numerous outdoor and specialty applications. Offray’s products also have been used by NASA for space flights.
Tim Offray serves as the business development manager for the company and represents the fifth generation in the family business that has been privately owned and operated by a member of the Offray family since 1876.
He earned his B.A. in political science, was a member of the Statesmen football team and named to dean’s list. He then earned his M.B.A. in organizational and competive strategy from the Simon School of Business in Rochester, N.Y.
Claudia Offray earned a B.A. in history and was a member of the Herons cross country team. She then earned a M.S.W. from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, N.J. She is a psychiatric social worker at St. Barres Healthcare System in Long Branch.
The segment about Offray Specialty Narrow Fabrics will run on Fox Business between 9:30 and 9:44 p.m., during the “Willis Report.” The profile premiered Thursday evening, Nov. 14.
