National Fuel Resources of Williamsville recently promoted Gwen Gilbert Appelbaum '93 to Manager of New York sales.
Appelbaum has served as Director of Energy Supply for National Fuel Resources since 2001. In her new job, she will be responsible for the company’s sales function, which provides energy management services to businesses, schools and municipalities throughout the state.
She joined the firm in 1997 as an energy trader. After receiving her bachelor's degree in economics from William Smith College, she earned an MBA from the University at Buffalo.
She lives in Snyder with her husband, Michael Appelbaum '92, an attorney with Damon & Morey of Buffalo, and their three children.
National Fuel Resources, a subsidiary of National Fuel Gas Co., also announced recently that it has been awarded a contract to supply natural gas for Crucible Specialty Metals, a division of Crucible Materials Corp.
