Hyon Telarico '03 will unveil her sculpture titled “The Bacchus” on the Ludovico Sculpture Trail in Seneca Falls at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28. The metal sculpture was named after a Roman wine God and stands nearly 30 feet tall, and has a 3 foot base.
The Sculpture Trail is a mile long walking trail along the canal in downtown Seneca Falls.
Telarico, an art major while at William Smith, is also a featured artist in a mixed media art show titled “Arts of America's Melting Pot.” Her pieces include sculptures of bronze, clay and wax as well as paintings of landscapes and portraits.
The art show will be held at the Ludovico Art Gallery at 61 Ovid St., in Seneca Falls. The Gallery is open from 1 until 5 p.m. Thursday-Sunday through Sept. 17.
