Tiedemann to Discuss Advertising Careers

Michael Tiedemann P’13, P’15, of DigitasLBi, a digitally-led integrated global branding agency, will deliver an on-campus, student-focused presentation, “A Career in Advertising.” The talk will be held on Thursday, March 27 at 7:30 p.m. in Stern 103 as part of the Colleges’ Professionals in Residence Series, sponsored by the Salisbury Center for Career Services and Professional Development.

In 2011, Tiedemann was selected to lead the creative pitch for what was to become DigitasLBi Boston’s biggest client: Bank of America. For this account, he now directs all digital and creative execution with a team of more than 35 professionals. Because of his partnership with Bank of America, Tiedemann has been able to hone senior client relationships and develop creative strategies for major website launches.

An employee at Digitas since 1999, Tiedemann has been honored with awards from the Broadcast Designers Association and the New England Direct Marketing Association, and his designs have also been published by Rockport Press on several occasions. Tiedemann earned his B.F.A. from Syracuse University’s School of Visual Arts and is currently in the process of pursuing an MBA at Cornell University.

One-on-one interviews with Tiedemann will take place on Friday, March 28 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in Trinity 109. All students are invited to schedule appointments by emailing cso@hws.edu.
