Dancers present in Ohio, at Cornell and in Geneva

Donna Davenport and Cadence Whittier, HWS professors of dance, presented their choreography and performances Sept. 17, at Ohio Wesleyan University, in Delaware, Ohio.

Their guest residency included master classes and choreographic commissions for OWU students.

The concert was preceded by a performance with Professor Michelle Ikle of four choreographic works by Davenport and Whittier's solo, “Off,” at Cornell University's Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts on Sept. 9.

Davenport, Ikle and Whittier also presented three dances at the CRS Barn Studio in Ithaca on Aug. 20 and at Geneva's Smith Opera House on Aug. 4 in “Dance Speaks: Solo and Duet Voices,” produced by Davenport in conjunction with the Western New York Arts Conference.

Davenport performed as a soloist July 23-25, in “The Handel Project,” with opera singers, musicians, and dancers at the CRS Barn Studio in Ithaca.
