Spector presents in Toronto

Donald Spector, the Moorad Professor of Science at HWS and a member of the Physics Department, was one of the featured speakers at this year's Subtle Technologies Festival at the University of Toronto.

Spector's presentation, “The Trouble with Waiting for Godot in Copenhagen,” offered a way to use Samuel Beckett's play “Waiting for Godot” and the Many Worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics each as a means to provide insight into the other. This eighth annual festival was billed as a multi-disciplinary symposium dedicated to “blurring the boundaries between art and science.”

Spector also attended the 4th International Symposium on Science and Art at Rutgers University.
