Actress Lauren Holly, daughter of Grant I. Holly, professor of English; and Michael Mueller Holly '73, is profiled as one of “the women who rock the hit show (NCIS)” in the Nov. 7-13 issue of TV Guide.
Her character, Jenny, is described as “the newly appointed NCIS director and former field agent who has a romantic past with Gibbs (Mark Harmon). 'I am the big boss,' Holly says.”
Elsewhere in the piece, Don Bellisario, creator of the show, says “Lauren gives it weight because of her credentials …” The show airs from 8 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays on CBS.
Holly, who turned 42 last week, is the mother of sons ages 4, 3 and 2; and is married to investment banker Francis Greco, according to the TV Guide article.
A graduate of Geneva High School and Sarah Lawrence College, she has appeared in “Picket Fences” and other series, as well as several movies.
