Chirlie Felix ’03 was recently nominated to receive a Fulbright grant to study sociology in Brazil for March 2006.
Fulbright recipients are selected based on academic and professional achievements as well as their demonstrated leadership potential. The Fulbright exchange program was established in 1946 to build joint understanding between the people of the United States and other nations of the world. Fulbright grants are very prestigious and Felix is presented with an incredible opportunity for advanced study abroad.
While at HWS, Felix was a double major in International Relations and Sociology. She studied abroad in both Brazil and Italy during her junior year.
She is currently working in New York City at the entertainment law firm Shukat Arrow Hafer and Weber as a legal assistant.
