As a part of the spring semester Professionals in Residence (PIR) series, Founder and President of 2adpro Media Solutions Todd Brownrout ’84 will return to campus to meet with students and talk about careers in media and advertising today, Monday, Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m. in Stern 201.
Students also have the opportunity to join one-on-one appointments the following day, Tuesday, Jan. 27 between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Trinity 109. To schedule an appointment with Brownrout, students can email Career Services at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Brownrout is a media and advertising leader and entrepreneur. Within a few years of earning his MBA, Brownrout was senior vice president of sales and marketing at Knight-Ridder’s Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News, leading a large multi-media sales staff while expanding the portfolio of the company through strategic publishing acquisitions in the Philadelphia DMA.
After serving as senior vice president of advertising at the Los Angeles Times, leading a team of 1,000 generating $1 billion in revenue, Brownrout decided to become an entrepreneur.
In 2006, with colleagues in Los Angeles and India, he founded 2adpro. 2adpro is a new and different type of advertising creation service. They create innovative ways to manage design delivery, using the power of technology to maximize the effectiveness of design.
From a standing start, 2adpro has grown into the largest company of its kind, with 1,000 talented, dedicated employees in India and the U.S., serving prestigious clients on four continents. In 2013, the company handled more than one million projects for its customers.
PIR is an ongoing series hosted by Career Services. PIR helps students investigate career options, with dozens of talks hosted every semester. The PIR series is also great for making connections in the professional world.
