The Office of Title IX Programs and Compliance will host “Stand With Survivors” beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28 in the Scandling Campus Center near the ATM lounge. The event will allow members of the campus community to show their support for survivors of sexual and domestic violence.
The event is divided into two parts. From 6 to 7 p.m., student organizations, as well as campus and community resources, will provide information and talk about how students can get involved. During this time, students can collect stamps from each table and get entered to win an iPad mini or $400 in snack money. Food will be provided.
Student and faculty performances will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Vandervort Room of the Scandling Campus Center. Performance groups will include Perfect Third, the Hobartones, dance and poetry groups and will focus on the theme “Stand with Survivors.”
At the end of the program, drawing for prizes will take place.
