6 Hobart tennis players earn all-academic honors

Six member of the Hobart College tennis team earned a place on the 2014-15 Liberty League All-Academic Team.

To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.2. The following Statesmen earned a spot on the team:

Luke DeLuccia, Sr., Computer Science

Patrick Dunk So., Undeclared

Michael Fields, Sr., Spanish and Hispanic Studies and Economics

Danny Kot, So., Economics

Carson Smith, So., Undeclared

Ryan Smith, So., Undeclared

DeLuccia and Fields are three-time all-academic honorees. Dunk, Kot, and the Smith brothers are making their first appearance.

The Statesmen finished 2014-2015 with a 10-9 overall. Hobart lost to Skidmore in the Liberty League tournament semifinals.
