The Hobart College tennis team was the only men’s tennis team from the Liberty League to be selected a 2015 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team. In addition, five Statesmen were recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes.
The ITA All-Academic Team award is given to any ITA program that has a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.00 scale. All varsity letter winners are factored into the overall team GPA from the current academic year, which includes both the fall 2014 and spring 2015.
To earn ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, a student must be a varsity letter winner, have a GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale for the current academic year and have been enrolled in his current institution for at least two semesters.
