Peter M. Miller ’79 was recently hired as senior partner at Red Rock Strategic Partners based in Athens, Ga. A leader in the financial services industry for many years, Miller works with clients to develop and enhance their businesses and growth trajectory.
Red Rock Strategic Partners works with financial institutions and middle market privately held firms working to accelerate growth, maximize business value and address ongoing business and personal issues of the owners and leaders.

Before joining Red Rock, Miller was a recruitment consultant in the private wealth management group at R.W. Baird. Prior to that position he was a member of Wells Fargo’s senior leadership team and was president of the adviser development group, a role in which he managed recruiting, training and adviser business development for the firm’s branch managers and financial advisers.
Previously, he was president and co-head of the Financial Services Group where he led investment areas within Wachovia Securities. He spent the majority of his career with A.G. Edwards where he held key leadership positions including executive vice president, director of sales and marketing, Eastern Regional Officer, and producing branch manager. He began his financial services career as a financial adviser with Kidder, Peabody and Co.
Miller, who is married to Debra Gere Miller ’78, earned his B.A. in psychology at HWS. He was a member of Theta Delta Chi.
