Nick Cream writes from Spain

My name is Nick Cream, a junior at the Colleges; Ben Crosky and I are in Barcelona, Spain, this semester and it has been a blast so far.

Ben and I are living with a family in Barcelona. Our family has been great so far. They speak no English so it has been quite an adjustment for both of us, but it is certainly a good thing.

Our Spanish is improving slowly and surely, also because all of our classes are in Spanish.

We are taking classes ranging from Spanish History, Art History, Cinema and Spanish language classes. We have been to Madrid, Toledo, and the small country of Andorra, which borders France and Spain, to ski for a weekend.

We have become avid fans of the two futbol teams in Barcelona, FC Barcelona (one of the best teams in the world right now) and Espanyol, which plays in the old Olympic Stadium.

It has been quite a great experience so far, and we are really loving it.

(Ed. note: Cream, from West Windsor, N.J., has been a dean's list scholar. Crosky '07 of Williamstown, Mass., has been a member of the hockey and soccer teams.)
