Laird Presents at Northeastern Storm Conference

Neil Laird, HWS assistant professor in Geoscience, presented results from a research investigation on Finger Lakes lake-effect snow systems at the Northeastern Storm Conference, March 10-12 in Saratoga Springs.

The annual Northeastern Storm Conference is sponsored entirely by the student chapters of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association at Lyndon State College, in Lyndonville, Vt.

It is the largest student-run conference in the nation with attendance eclipsing 300 in recent years, including individuals from all sectors of meteorology as well as high school, undergraduate and graduate students.
