Copies of “Mommy Wars: Stay-at-Home and Career Moms Face Off on Their Choices, Their Lives, Their Families,” by Leslie Morgan Steiner, with a contribution from Beth Brophy ’76, are now available at The College Store.
Steiner, an executive at The Washington Post, a writer, and mother of three, has lived and breathed every side of the “mommy wars.”
She commissioned 26 outspoken mothers — including our Brophy — to write about their lives, their families, and the choices that have worked for them. The result has been called “a frank, surprising, and utterly refreshing look at American motherhood.”
Brophy is also the author of “My Ex-Best Friend, A Novel of Suburbia,” published by Simon and Schuster in 2003.
