Partnership for Global Education and Blackboard Featured

The National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education seeks to create networks of common interest among faculty, technologists, librarians, and students who are applying technology to teaching and learning in new and interesting ways. The Institute has reports and articles, sampling activities on 81 campuses, to highlight innovative projects and encourage people on different campuses to explore and discuss each other's work. Hobart and William Smith Colleges' Partnership for Global Education with Union College was highlighted in an article titled “Technology and the Internationalization of the Curriculum,” and Blackboard, as used by Associate Professor of Sociology Jack Harris, was highlighted in the second part of the article, “Distance Education Technologies for Teaching and Learning.”
